Μια ολόκληρη εποχή ζει μέσα σε αυτή τη φωτογραφία, μια ανάμνηση ποτισμένη με το φως του κυθηραϊκού ήλιου, τη μυρωδιά του χώματος και την ανόθευτη ζεστασιά μιας άλλης ζωής.
Όταν οι χαρές μας ήταν ατόφιες και οι εκδρομές γίνονταν πάνω στο τρακτέρ, ξαπλωμένοι όλοι μαζί στη καρότσα, στριμωγμένοι αλλά ευτυχισμένοι, όπως χαρακτηριστικά αναφέρει για αυτή τη φωτογραφία ο Βρεττος Κυπριωτης
Γύρω του, πρόσωπα γεμάτα ζωή, φρέσκα και φωτεινά, μάτια που λάμπουν από προσμονή και αθωότητα
Τι λέτε; Πάμε να αναγνωρίσουμε τα πρόσωπα; Πάμε να σκύψουμε πάνω από το παρελθόν και να αφήσουμε τη νοσταλγία να μας παρασύρει σε εκείνα τα καλοκαίρια που δεν θα σβήσουν ποτέ;

An entire era lives within this photograph, a memory soaked in the light of the Kytherian sun, the scent of the earth, and the unadulterated warmth of another life.
When our joys were pure and excursions took place on the tractor, all of us lying together in the trailer, cramped yet happy, as Vrettos Kypriotis so aptly describes this photo. At the steering wheel of the old tractor, little Andreas holds the reins firmly, ready to lead the group on a stroll through the village streets.
Around him, faces full of life, fresh and bright, eyes shining with anticipation and innocence. Every figure in this photograph carries a story, a piece of Kythera’s soul.
